The diversity and the vastness of the ski area were the main reasons to chose for "les 4 Vallées" as our base camp in the mountains. It is, besides the largest ski area of Switzerland, also the area suitable for all ski levels. Novices, advanced skiërs and experts will find what they are hoping for.

Novices will discover a very original beginners area just on top of the Tracouet cable lift. 

Advanced skiers and expert skiers will have plenty of possibilities since the whole area covers 4 valleys and 8 villages.

Since the area is too extended to cover in one day the location of Haute Nendaz is really strategic: it is right in the middle of the ski domain, you can opt to stay in the Nendaz/Siviez neighborhood, you can choose for a trip direction Verbier and La Tzoumaz or you go for a day trip towards Veysonnaz/Thyon/Les masses/les Collons. 

The biggest advantage of the area is the fact that the different options will give you a complete different experience: Verbier delivers world class luxury restaurants. You will have no problem in finding very challenging slopes and itineraries. Besides these slopes for experts you have of course also a vast choice of blue, red and black pistes leading towards the village of Verbier and/or Tzoumaz.

The Veysonnaz area on the other hand is much more straightforward. Restaurants are easygoing and the pistes are more comparable to other ski domains. But, the overwhelming part of your trip towards Veysonnaz will be the paths that lead you towards Veysonnaz and it's neighboring villages. The views you will get there are breathtaking and even for mountain addicts very unique!
